Goals
The goals of the LBHN are threefold:
Provide an education program designed to inform and raise awareness of breast health issues.
Provide underserved populations with access to the following:
Durables: Wigs, Bras, puffs and prostheses.
Assistance with: mammograms and medical bills.
Incidentals: assist with the purchase of food items, assist with utilities, rent or mortgage, transportation costs such as car payments, taxi fare or gas cards, and other incidentals.
Provide support to the diagnosed. Support ranges from emotional, spiritual, financial and material.
