Thanks to all who supported Broad Run DECA's
Broad Run DECA’s Hurricane PINK project touched down in NYC on November 1! The Broad Run marketing students headed to New York City to promote their project, Hurricane PINK. The DECA Chapter took 47 passionate marketing students to create awareness about Loudoun County’s local breast cancer charity and network, Loudoun Breast Health Network. In New York, they were on the TODAY Show, and even got a personal interview with Dylan Dreyer! They represented the school and community in the most honorable ways, all while creating awareness for breast cancer and for LBHN!
Not only did they make it on the TODAY Show, but Hurricane PINK also has its own awareness and spirit week October 29 – November 6. The final event will be Friday, November 6, at the home football game against Tuscarora! We invite everyone to come out and to purchase their own Hurricane PINK t-shirts (long sleeves are $15 and short sleeves are $10) to support this cause! Also, at the game, we will have a raffle with amazing prizes and even a bake sale – all to benefit LBHN! All proceeds from our t-shirt sales, raffle, and bake sale will be donated to Loudoun Breast Health Network!
