LBHN Hosts New Beginnings: Annual Breast Cancer Survivors' Retreat
The Loudoun Breast Health Network (LBHN), in partnership with Inova Loudoun Hospital, is proud to announce the 7th Annual Breast Cancer Survivors’ Retreat – “New Beginnings” on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
This free event is to Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness in Loudoun County by providing expert speakers, support information, community resources and free giveaways to all (including wigs, bras, cosmetics and more for survivors)! This event will be held at Village at Leesburg, Community Meeting Room (in the Wegmans’ Shopping Plaza) from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The New Beginnings retreat is a two-part event. From 9:30 a.m. -12 noon, there will be an educational session titled, “Latest Advances in Breast Cancer Treatment.”
The afternoon session, from 12 noon -3:00 p.m., will be an open house format including breast cancer support/community resource information; free wigs, bras, scarves, hats and makeovers for survivors; free massages & mini yoga sessions; free healing touch sessions; refreshments; door prizes and much more!
